Get Involved

Honor Flight Arizona wouldn’t be able to honor our Veterans with a trip to their memorials without the support of all of our wonderful guardians, volunteers, and sponsors. We have opportunities for people to assist the Veterans, help us prepare for the trip, welcome us home, as well as suggestions for schools/scouts/youth groups. Check out the following opportunities and let us know how you would like to share your passion for our country’s veterans with us.

Guardians

Honor Flight Arizona would not be successful without the generous support of our Guardians. Guardians play a significant role on every trip, ensuring that every veteran has a safe and memorable experience. Duties include, but are not limited to, physically assisting the Veterans at the airport, during the flight and at the memorials. Please know that this is a physically taxing trip and that Guardians need to be in good health. Guardians are also responsible for their own expenses – $1,300 (airfare, accommodations, meals, transportation, etc.). Learn more about becoming a Guardian and apply.

Volunteers

Honor Flight Arizona relies heavily on the dedicated help provided by our volunteers. New volunteers may be needed from time to time for clerical & business support, fundraising, community outreach, staffing luncheons for our Veterans, airport assistance, and other organizational needs. *Please complete our volunteer application form.

*Any form submissions selling/soliciting to Honor Flight Arizona for paid individual or business services will not be considered. This is a volunteer information form.

Sponsors

It costs Honor Flight Arizona $1,300 to send each Veteran to see their memorials. We rely on the passion and kindness of local businesses, community groups and individuals to help us raise enough money to complete our flights on schedule. Visit the Donate page or contact us at [email protected] to learn more about sponsoring a Veteran or a trip.
